Orissa:Naryanpatna land struggle inspires tribals of Raikia, Phulbani

Berhampur: Maoist distributed 40 acres of cultivated land to Tribal at Raikia of Phulbani district. Every day Maoist activators capturing one after one area from undivided Ganjam, Koraput and Kandhamal Districts.
In the name of “CHASI MULIA SANGHA” non Tribal people those have captured the cultivated land now those lands are under the custody of Maoists.
Maoist activists were more alert after the 2007 violence in Kandhamal District.
Ranaba Panchyat an interior village of Kandhamal Maoist were captured 40 acres of land from two Mahajans and donated to landless Tribals.
Now from Ranaba from Maharaja family 100 Varana (20 acres) and from a another family 200 Varana (40 Acres) of land distributed to Tribal family.

Orissa Maoist shows their strength in Kalimela of Orissa
Malkangiri: In a daring incident, about three thousand unarmed Maoist cadres under the banner of ‘Chasi Mulia Sangha’ have once again shown their strength in their show called fortress Kalimela today.
According to reports, the Maoist cadres and their supporters assembled at the ‘Hatpada’ in Kalimela over six point charter of demands.The ultras and their tribal supporters were reportedly thronged to the small town at about 10 pm and later went to the Block premises raising pro-Maoist and anti government slogans.
The leaders were also giving poll boycott slogans.The state government has failed in all fronts to ensure the development of the tribal pockets in the district,they alleged.
The six point charter of demand includes, extension of the canal from Bhejangwada to Manamkonda, electrification of the tribal villages and granting Scheduled Tribe status to the Kondareddy community people.
The cadres were later handed over the charter of demands to the Kalimela Block Development Officer.According to the security experts,it was well planned strategy by the Maoist to give a signal to the administration that they have control over the area,
