Lagarh: Two policemen in Maoist custody?

LALGARH: Suspected Maoists Thursday abducted two policemen, members of the joint forces engaged in anti-Maoists operations in Lalgarh, while they were returning to their camp in Dharampur.
This is the second abduction of policemen by the Maoists in a week in Lalgarh.Sabbir Molla and Kanchan Bauri, Assistant Sub-inspectors of the State Armed Police, had gone from Dharampur to Lalgarh about 14 km away, Thursday morning, West Midanapore Superintendent of Police Manoj Verma said.While they were returning to Dharampur on a motorbike in the afternoon, they were waylaid by a group of about 20 armed Maoists who abducted them.
Efforts were on to trace the two policemen.Earlier on July 24, the Maoists abducted Assistant Sub-Inspector Deepak Pramanik from near Pidrakuli jungle in Lalgarh. He was released unharmed the next day.
