Imphal, September 06, 2009: Pointing the difference between security forces and the PLA cadres, the proscribed RPF has advised the central security forces to go back to their homes before time runs out.

A press statement issued by the outfit’s department of publicity chief GM Changjou security forces have been working for salaries and are always waiting eagerly for leave.

On the other hand, the insurgents have been fighting valiantly for the motherland putting their lives at stake. It is natural for any two party fighting a battle to use all their resources to finish off the other party.

What is important is respecting international laws applicable in a battle/confrontation, the outfit noted.Till date, the PLA cadres have been acting in conformity to the international laws in all the battles they fought, it claimed.

The adversary forces know this and they have been taking undue advantage out of such strict discipline ingrained in PLA cadres.Had the PLA perceived Thai army as their soldiers, the Thai army would have suffered great losses.

The PLA’s consignment of arms and ammunition would not have lost. The Thai army and their Government knew this.In return, they responded by putting their faith in the RPF/PLA, GM Changjou said.

Conveying that the shoot-out which took place at Kharal in Ukhrul district on September 5 was between a section of the PLA’s 253 A Coy and troops of 34 Assam Rifles, the outfit claimed that the AR troops might have suffered some casualty or even death. Now the PLA is planning for further offensive.

The PLA cadres suffered no casualty, Changjou said.Seeking continued support and cooperation from the public to the PLA, the outfit claimed that the lost sovereignty of Manipur would be regained one day or another.Asking the central security forces to leave Manipur, the outfit said that it has no intention to make Manipur graveyard of the security forces coming from different parts of India.

Family members, children and parents would be waiting for the return of security personnel and it is the wish of the PLA that they go back alive. The outfit further asserted that the armed movement of Manipur is a political war.It is a war for liberation of the repressed people of Manipur who are yet to freed from the colonial yoke, GM Changjou said.
