Meetings are being reportedly conducted by the Maoists in their strongholds of Kalimela,Podia during the recent days to garner support for the PLGA week celebration. If an information received by this website is to be relied, the strength of the PLGA has touched around ten thousand during the recent months.

On the other hand, police has also initiated measures to avert any Maoist sponsored incident during the celebration. The police seems ready to counter the rebels during the week long celebration. The armed and civil police has been kept on high alert in the sensitive areas of the district to avert possible Maoist attack during this period.Police has also reportedly strengthened it’s intelligence network ahead of the PLGA week. With only four days left for the celebration, both the Police and red rebels seems busy in finalizing the counter measures against each other.
